Find every missing and outdated translation in your Shopify store
Translation apps translate. Translation Coverage checks the result: for every published language, it lists each product, collection, page, menu and policy with text that is missing, out of date, or still in the original language.
What it finds
Missing
No translation at all, so shoppers in that language see your original text.
Out of date
You edited the original after it was translated. The translation may no longer match.
Same as the original
A "translation" that is your original text word for word, often an automatic translation that didn't run.
Glossary term changed
Add your brand and product names, and the app flags translations that changed or translated them.
How it works
- Install the app. The first check starts by itself.
- See coverage for each language by content type: products, collections, pages, menus and more.
- Open the list of items to fix, click through to each one in your admin, or download a CSV for your translator.
- Press Check now when you're done to confirm the gaps are closed.
It works alongside Translate & Adapt or any translation app, and never edits your store. New to this? Readhow to find missing translations in Shopify.

Questions
Does it translate my store?
No. It checks the translations you already have, from Translate & Adapt or any other translation app, and lists what is missing or wrong. You fix them in the translation app you use.
What does it check?
Products, product options and values, collections, image alt text, metaobjects, pages, blogs and posts, menus, filters, your store's SEO title and description, and your policies, in every published language. Theme text such as button labels is not checked: Translate & Adapt already shows it section by section.
What's the difference between missing, out of date and same as the original?
Missing means there is no translation, so shoppers see your original text. Out of date means you edited the original after it was translated. Same as the original means a translation exists but is word for word your original text, often an automatic translation that never ran.
Does it change anything in my store?
No. It only has permission to read your languages and translations.
Does it read customer data?
No. It reads store content and translations only, and stores no personal information about your customers.
